Dave Leary – Pastor
Pastor Leary is originally from Shannon, Illinois. After high school, he went to the local community college and received an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. He then transferred to Illinois State University and received his degree in Business Education. After graduation, he married Kathy in 1982. The Lord blessed them with two daughters. They went off to Maranatha Baptist Bible College where David received his Master’s Degree in 1986. Pastor David and family then entered the campus ministry where they served on the campuses of Illinois State University, West Virginia University and finally on the campus of the University of Illinois. After 12 years of campus ministry, David was called to pastor Grape Creek Baptist Church in 1999.
